About Us

Jon's Family Foods has been a part of the Clarissa community for 40 years. Jon Miller and his wife, Deb, are long-time residents of Staples and proud graduates of Staples High School. Having grown up in the grocery business, Jon opened his first store in 1983. In March 2012, the second Jon's Family Foods in Staples opened.

Jon's takes great pride in their fresh departments and smokehouse meats. The Clarissa location smokes meat goods on site and delivers to the Staples store. You can find over 100 varieties of smoked items to choose from! In addition to the smokehouse, both stores cut and package their own fresh meats. They offer special cuts of meats and custom orders to help best serve their customers.If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, the Jon's Family Foods bakery offers custom decorated cakes for your next special occasion as well as fresh baked buns and rolls.
